Daily, Weekly, Monthly ?
Or none of the above?
The first rule of Project Life is .... there are no rules. Becky Higgins says as much on her own website but I don't think many people read that. They buy the kits, join the most obsessive forum/Facebook group they can find and then worry constantly about it. You'll notice this site is called "Easy Pocket Scrapbooking". It doesn't have Project Life in the title. Well, it couldn't anyway as that's a registered trademark but it doesn't have any almost-Project-Life title like Documenting your Every Day or Project 365/52/whatever. It's about the overall style of scrapbooking. In pockets.
Even if you are passionate about making a Project Life "scrapping the everyday" album I think it helps if you convince yourself it's an overall style rather than a strict system to be followed. It's about scrapping your life - the events, the big things, the little things.
You can take photos every single day but you will soon wear yourself out and get bored with it. It's not the taking of photos that's tedious but getting them on to your computer and doing something with them. There is a lot of pressure every January for everyone to start committing to this idea. It's not just because January is the start of a new year but - here's the rub - because the companies have nothing else to sell you. See my blog post for how I feel about that!

So what DO you do then?
Personally I make a page with a group of photos. I've always done that and don't see the need to change because a clever lady came up with a clever system I like to use. A page can be about a day, a week or a month. There may be a date somewhere, or several if it's important to the story. It might have a fancy journal card showing the month.
Here's a page (digi) where several things happened over a weekend. It was the beginning of the month so I added the February card. It was 2nd February so I added the groundhog even though we don't have them here. I just thought it was amusing. I added the 1st and 2nd dates because I also thought it was amusing that the album arrived before the cruise was booked. "I just thought it was amusing" figures a lot in my scrapbooks!
The page encapsulates a weekend in our lives. At the end of the year (or sometime later ...) we will have an album that reminds us of the good and bad times of our lives that will be amusing to look at. That's all that matters.

Try it!
Think "collection of photos" for your next few pages and see whether you tend to gravitate towards weeks/months. You just might be happier making "As and When albums". I wonder if I can grab that as a trademark ...
