Let The Background Show
Let's lose some of those boxes!
Sometimes you don't need all the boxes on a page and it's good to see more of the background paper. In this page I used a Becky Higgins digital Project Life template and the Honey digital kit. Since the page was about taking photos I wanted the cameras on the background paper to show so I hid some of the boxes designed for photos. Then because it was a little busy I added an almost plain paper underneath the photos in the middle row.
TIP: When you want to remove some photo boxes from a template DON'T delete them. Simple click on the little eye next to the layer you don't want and it will be hidden. You never know if you might want it back again later.

Here's a second version of that page with slightly different elements that uses all the pockets. This time I used a wood effect background which I thought was suitable given the trees in the photos! One of the great things about digital is being able to make a different version of the page.
For this page I knew straight away that I want to flower on the background paper to show. This is the gorgeous Cherry kit from digital project life. I have the paper kit and two of the coordinating albums!
I added an extra flower too.
A page can look surprisingly different when you SUBTRACT from it. You can always put the pockets back - that's if you followed my tip above!
